Sri means Lakshmi, the Goddess of all wealths.. Sripuram means the abode of the Goddess Lakshmi.
Good Vastu is the abode of Lakshmi. Lakshmi dwells in Good Vastu homes and showers auspiciousness.

Sthapatyaveda (vastu) is an upaveda of Atharva Veda. Almost all of the eighteen or nineteen Puranas (A Purana traditionally treats five subjects: primary creation of the universe, secondary creation after periodic annihilation, genealogy of gods and saints, grand epochs, and histories of the royal dynasties. They are derived from the Vedas) and the twenty-eight Agama Shastras (Agamas are huge compilations gathered tougher from various sources dealing with varied subjects including sculpture and architecture.) all deal with Vastu in one way or another. Historical Indian epics, such as the Ramayana, the Mahabharata and other works also have provided instructive descriptions of the edifices, gardens, conveyances and the furniture for creature comforts of their time (list of ancient texts that have dealt with Vastu are appended).

Miraculous powers of Vaastu is a fantastic book.
Lakshmi makes this complicated subject easy to understand and apply . I have studied Vaastu and Feng Shui for some time now, and was happily surprised at how she streamlined centuries of knowlege without leaving out important information. If you are interested in Vaastu principles, but are frustrated because there's nothing out there on the subject, this is the perfect book. It's all here.

The Miraculous Powers of Vaasthu is the M.V.P. of vaasthu books,
An excellent primer , thoughtfully written . I rated the book
4 out of 5 stars , because there is always room for improvement , and because to my western mind the book was more comprehensive read back to front . The powers of vaasthu can create huge benefits from small changes . I have applied many of the books recommendations , and whether coincidence or consequence , harmony followed .

Lakshmi Choudary's book is another example for the fact, that nowadays the monetary value of a book stands in no relation to it's real value. The way our place of living allows the cosmic energies (or life force) to flow is reflected in our lives and we experience ease and harmony or struggle and difficulties. While reading this book, I began contemplating the life I lived and what kinds of flats / houses I called my home during the different experiences in my life. I am happy to have a tool now, to consciously shape my place of living - and at the same time my life - to the better. For me, Miraculous Powers of Vaasthu is of invaluable help. I strongly recommend this book.

The science of vaasthu, as presented by Lakshmi Choudary, is a contribution of great value to the understanding of the relation between human life and the forces of the universe. I strongly recommend this book, which is full of love, life and wisdom, helping us to improve our place of living, showing us how to bring about harmony in our body-mind-spirit in relation with the environment, for a prosperous life.

The interconnection between the microcosm and the macrocosm involves a persuit in spiritual learning that has no ending.
In this process, the discovery and integration of this book
into everyday practice has provided an expansive and more complete idea of manifestation, from the subtle and intricate knowledge of the Pantheon that Lakshmi provides in her book.
From the First group of Khandas and the related Mayukhas through
the Second and Third and this direct application in Kriya Yoga regarding the Serpent Power, there awakens the potential to see what could be described as the 360 degrees of Light, as could best be this attempt to describe it. The book is quite easy to comprehend, yet very informative and extemely far reaching. These qualities are difficult to find in most "esoteric" books.
I use this book every morning in Sadna and recomend it to all.

This book helped me incorporate some changes into my living space, which I now find to be a more harmonious place. It is especially helpful for those who will be buying, remodeling or building a home, as you can easily incorporate correct placement of the doors, rooms, etc.
I will definitely refer to it upon my next move.
